The John F. Kennedy Space Center is one of ten National Aeronautics and Space Administration field centers. Since December 1968, Kennedy Space Center has been NASA‘s primary launch center of human spaceflight.

 

Itinerary: Orlando, FL  Kennedy Space Center  Orlando, FL

Today, we are starting our tour at Orlando, FL you could choose to be picking up from Orlando or Kissimmee-area. If you wish to be picking up outside of Orlando and Kissimmee-area, please advise your pick up address when check out. ***Please note that surcharge may apply for picking up outside of Orlando.

Our first stop will be Lake Eola Park downtown, the home of Lake Eola and its famous fountain. From there, we will head to the Winter Park neighborhood to have a relaxing walk. After the tour, we will leave for the NASA’s Kennedy Space Center where we will visit the amazing Space Center complex and both the Center and the Hall of Fame.

By the end of the day, we will return to Orlando, FL in the late evening to conclude our tour. Please advise your drop off address when check out.

Lake Eola Park Downtown

Lake Eola Park is a public park located in Downtown Orlando, Florida. Lake Eola is the main feature of the park, The majestic fountain and graceful swan boats make Lake Eola an exceptional amenity to the area Also located in the park is the Walt Disney Amphitheater, which hosts many community events and various performances year round. On the east side of the park is a Chinese pagoda, and a playground.

Winter Park is a city near Orlando, Florida. It’s known for its abundant outdoor spaces like leafy Central Park. In Winter Park you will find more than 70 parks, all home to various events, festivals and celebrations throughout the year. Not only are there enough activities to keep you and your family content within the Winter Park city limits, but all the Orlando attractions are just minutes away. Overlooking Lake Osceola, the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens displays works by the notable Czech-American artist. By Lake Virginia, Cornell Fine Arts Museum shows antiquities and contemporary works.

Kennedy Space Center

The John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is one of ten National Aeronautics and Space Administration field centers. Since December 1968, Kennedy Space Center has been NASA’s primary launch center of human spaceflight. Launch operations for the Apollo, Skylab and Space Shuttle programs were carried out from Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39 and managed by KSC. Located on the east coast of Florida, KSC is adjacent to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS). The management of the two entities work very closely together, share resources, and even own facilities on each other’s property.

    The Kennedy Space Center has plenty of things to see and do, along with Epcot were our daughter’s favorite two days on our Orlando family vacation.
