Oahu is a U.S. island in the Central Pacific, part of the Hawaiian island chain and home to the state capital, Honolulu. Highlights of the city include historic Chinatown and the Punchbowl, a crater-turned-cemetery. 

Honolulu, on the island of Oahu’s south shore, is capital of Hawaii and gateway to the U.S. island chain. The Waikiki neighborhood is its center for dining, nightlife and shopping, famed for its iconic crescent beach backed by palms and high-rise hotels, with volcanic Diamond Head crater looming in the distance

Waikiki is an iconic beach, dining and nightlife area. West of Honolulu is Pearl Harbor, site of the WWII’s 1941 bombing attack and home to the USS Arizona Memorial.

 

Day 1: Honolulu, HI Pearl Harbor Honolulu, HI

Today, we are starting our tour at Honolulu, HI and you can choose to be picking up from Waikiki-area hotel. If you wish to be picking up outside of Waikiki-areas, please advise your pick up address when check out. ***Please note that surcharge may apply for picking up outside of Waikiki.

Today our first stop of the day will be Pearl Harbor, HI, where we will learn about the attack the catapulted the United States into World War II. After that we will go to the USS Arizona Memorial and drive through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific(courts of the missing), also known as the Punchbowl National Cemetery.

In the late evening, we will back to hotel for rest. Our hotel arrangement will be 20 – 30 minutes away from Downtown.

Day 2: Honolulu, HI Oahu Honolulu, HI

After the comfy stay, we will be heading to view the east part of Oahu, including the world famous Waikiki Beach, Kahala, Diamond Head Look out, Hanauma Bay, Halona Blow Hole and Pali Lookout.

At the end of the day, we will conclude our tour in Waikiki-areas. Please advise your drop off address when check out.

Waikiki

High-rise hotels line the shore in Waikiki, a vibrant neighborhood known for its popular surf beach. Designer fashion stores line Kalakaua Avenue and nearby streets, and the area buzzes after dark with waterside cocktail bars, fine dining and Kuhio Beach hula shows. Honolulu Zoo is home to Komodo dragons and wandering peacocks, while parrotfish and urchins inhabit Waikiki Aquarium’s reef exhibit.

Kamehameha I

Kamehameha I, also known as Kamehameha the Great, was the founder and first ruler of the Kingdom of Hawaii. A statue of him was given to the National Statuary Hall Collection in Washington, D.C. by the state of Hawaii as one of two statues it is entitled to give.

Hanauma Bay

Hanauma is a marine embayment formed within a tuff ring and located along the southeast coast of the Island of Oʻahu in the Hawaii Kai neighborhood of East Honolulu, in the Hawaiian Islands. Hanauma is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Island and has suffered somewhat from overuse.
