The Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks is the consolidated management structure for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park in California. The two parks have been jointly administered since 1943. They have a combined size of 1,353 square miles.

 

Day 1: Los Angeles, CA Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park Bakersfield, CA

Today, we are starting our tour at Los Angeles, CA and you can choose to be picking up from Downtown Los Angeles-area hotel. If you wish to be picking up outside of Downtown Los Angeles-areas, please advise your pick up address when check out. ***Please note that surcharge may apply for picking up outside of Los Angeles.

The journey from Los Angeles to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park will be 4 to 5 hours, we will make stops for restrooms and lunch on the way. Once we arrive at the park, we will see the famous giant sequoia trees that grow in park and nowhere else in the world. Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park were designated the UNESCO Sequoia-Kings Canyon Biosphere Reserve in 1976.

After the tour, we will go back to the hotel for rest. Our hotel arrangement will be 20 – 30 minutes away from Downtown.

Day 2: Bakersfield, CA Los Angeles, CA 

After the relaxing stay, we will head to Los Angeles for the city tour by visiting the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Grand Central Market, Angels Flight Railway, Venice Beach, The Grove and The Original Farmers Market. 

After lunch we will make a stop to the famous Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. During your aquarium visit, be sure to catch one of the several shows offered through the day, including dive shows, animal meet and greets, and live Pacific Pals puppet shows in the outdoor Marine Life Theater.

In the evening, we will take a trip to the famous Santa Monica which is a coastal city west of downtown Los Angeles to enjoy the beautiful sunset with views over the Pacific Ocean to conclude our tour. Please advise your drop off address when check out.

Aquarium of the Pacific

The Aquarium of the Pacific is a public aquarium on a 5-acre site on Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, California, United States. It is situated across the water from the Long Beach Convention Center, Shoreline Village, and the Queen Mary Hotel and Attraction.

Angels Flight Railway

Angels Flight is a landmark 2 ft 6 in narrow gauge funicular railway in the Bunker Hill district of Downtown Los Angeles, California. It has two funicular cars, Sinai and Olivet, running in opposite directions on a shared cable on the 298 feet long inclined railway.

Santa Monica

Santa Monica is a coastal city west of downtown Los Angeles. Santa Monica Beach is fringed by Palisades Park, with views over the Pacific Ocean. Santa Monica Pier is home to the Pacific Park amusement park, historic Looff Hippodrome Carousel and Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. Next to the pier is Muscle Beach, an outdoor gym established in the 1930s. In the city center, Bergamot Station houses several art galleries.
