The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge with a glass walkway at Eagle Point in Arizona near the Colorado River on the edge of a side canyon in the Grand Canyon West Rim area of the main canyon.

Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. Viewpoints include Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station and architect Mary Colter’s Lookout Studio and her Desert View Watchtower. Lipan Point, with wide views of the canyon and Colorado River, is a popular, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest. It is on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon includes two separate, scenic slot canyon sections, referred to individually as “Upper Antelope Canyon” or “The Crack“; and “Lower Antelope Canyon” or “The Corkscrew“.

Lake Powell is a reservoir on the Colorado River, straddling the border between Utah and Arizona, United States. Most of Lake Powell, along with Rainbow Bridge National Monument, is located in Utah. It is a major vacation spot that around two million people visit every year.

 

Day 1: Los Angeles, CA Las Vegas, NV

Today, we are starting our tour at Los Angeles, CA and you can choose to be picking up from Downtown Los Angeles-area hotel. If you wish to be picking up outside of Downtown Los Angeles-areas, please advise your pick up address when check out. ***Please note that surcharge may apply for picking up outside of Los Angeles.

We will start our journey from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, the journey is about 5 hours and we will make a stop in between for restrooms. Before we arrive Las Vegas, we will make a stop at Seven Magic Mountains which is a desert art installation featuring 7 painted boulder totems up to 35 ft. high by Ugo Rondinone. We will stay for some time to take pictures here.

We will arrive Las Vegas in the afternoon and proceed to check-in for hotel. You can have some free time by your own in Las Vegas for the day. Our hotel arrangement will be 20 – 30 minutes away from Downtown.

Day 2: Las Vegas, NV Grand Canyon West Rim Las Vegas, NV

After the relaxing stay, we will travel to the famous Hoover Dam, from where we will be able to have stunning view over Lake Mead. After the tour, we will travel to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. We will visit Eagle Point and Guano Point for the amazing view of the Grand Canyon. You will have the chance to take the famous Grand Canyon Skywalk Glass Bridge which you can walk on the transparent bridge over the Grand Canyon.

By the end of the day, we will back to Las Vegas, NV for the stay of the night. Our hotel arrangement will be 20 – 30 minutes away from Downtown.

Today we are going to Las Vegas South Premium Outlets which is a large mall with 140 shops of designer & household brands in clothing, accessories, leather & gifts before we returning to Los Angeles, CA.

In the afternoon, we will return to Los Angeles, CA to conclude our tour. Please advise your drop off address when check out.

Hoover Dam

Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Originally known as Boulder Dam from 1933, it was officially renamed Hoover Dam by a joint resolution of Congress in 1947. Its construction was the result of a massive effort involving thousands of workers, and cost over one hundred lives. The dam was named after President Herbert Hoover.

Lake Mead

Lake Mead is a lake on the Colorado River, about 24 mi (39 km) from the Las Vegas Strip, southeast of the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, in the states of Nevada and Arizona. It is the largest reservoir in the United States in terms of water capacity. Formed by the Hoover Dam, the reservoir serves water to the states of Arizona, California, and Nevada, providing sustenance to nearly 20 million people and large areas of farmland.

Skywalk Glass bridge

The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge with a glass walkway in Arizona near the Colorado River on the edge of a side canyon in the Grand Canyon West area of the main canyon. USGS topographic maps show the elevation at the Skywalk’s location as 4,770 ft (1,450 m) and the elevation of the Colorado River in the base of the canyon as 1,160 ft (350 m), and they show that the height of the precisely vertical drop directly under the skywalk is between 500 ft (150 m) and 800 ft (240 m).

Its main street and focal point is the Strip, just over 4 miles long.
