Banff National Park is Canada‘s oldest national park and was established in 1885. Located in the Rocky Mountains, 110–180 kilometres (68–112 mi) west of Calgary in the province of Alberta, Banff encompasses 6,641 square kilometres (2,564 sq mi) of mountainous terrain, with numerous glaciers and ice fields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes. Yoho National Park is in the Rocky Mountains, in eastern British Columbia, Canada. Waterfalls include Wapta Falls, on the Kicking Horse River, and towering Takakkaw Falls. A trail circles turquoise-coloured Emerald Lake, with a nearby natural stone bridge. The Lake O’Hara area contains alpine lakes, cliffs and wooded trails. Viewpoints overlook trains entering the Spiral Tunnels on Kicking Horse Pass.

 

Day 1: Vancouver, BC  Okanagan  Kelowna  Vernon, BC 

Today you can choose to be picking up from Vancouver-area hotel to start the tour. If you wish to be picking up outside of Vancouver-areas, please advise your pick up address when check out. ***Please note that surcharge may apply for picking up outside of Vancouver.

First, we will drive through the valley of Fraser to Merritt to enjoy the scenic view. We will visit the famous VQA winery in Kelowna, BC on the way and enjoy the lunch at nearby area. Then continue our trip by visiting Okanagan, BC to see Okanagan Lake and Planet Bee Honey Farm.

In the late evening we will check in to hotel in Vernon, BC after the tour. Our hotel arrangement will be 20 – 30 minutes away from Downtown.

Day 2: Vernon, BC  Glacier National Park  Yoho National Park  Banff National Park  Golden, BC

Today we will continue our journey to Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park, BC. Then pass by Yoho National Park before we arrive to the famous Banff National Park. You can either choose to take the cable car at your own expenses to the top of mountains overlooking Lake Victoria and Lake Louise or walk around the lake to enjoy the natural beauty.

In the evening, we will head to Golden, BC for the night. Our hotel arrangement will be 20 – 30 minutes away from Downtown.

Day 3: Golden, BC  Banff National Park  Jasper National Park  Revelstoke, BC 

Today we will continue explore the Glacier Ice National Park where we will pass by Bow Lake and proceed to the Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, where we will ride on the specially designed Ice Explorer onto the surface of the stunning Athabasca Glacier, followed by a walk on the Glacier Skywalk, a glass-floored observation platform 918 feet above spectacular glacier-formed valleys and rushing waterfalls.

After the tour, we will proceed to hotel nearby Revelstoke, BC for the night. Our hotel arrangement will be 20 – 30 minutes away from Downtown.

Day 4: Revelstoke, BC  Salmon Arms  Kamloops  Vancouver, BC 

On this day, we will travel from Revelstoke, BC back to Vancouver, BC. On our way we will stop in Kamloops, BC to visit the Last Spike Monument and then head to the Sunmore Ginseng Factory in Kamloops, BC.

After the tour in Kamloops, we will head back to Vancouver to conclude our tour. Please advise your drop off address when check out.

Located in the Rocky Mountains, 110–180 kilometres west of Calgary in the province of Alberta, Banff encompasses 6,641 square kilometres of mountainous terrain, with numerous glaciers and ice fields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes. The Icefields Parkway extends from Lake Louise, connecting to Jasper National Park in the north. Provincial forests and Yoho National Park are neighbours to the west, while Kootenay National Park is located to the south and Kananaskis Country to the southeast. The main commercial centre of the park is the town of Banff, in the Bow River valley.
